So i spent my day searching for her majesty ..
there she is
rising gracioucly
proudly wearing a halo around her face
i pamper myself in her heat
i dare to stretch an arm but she's out of reach
so i just let the ray tickle its way down from my palm to my spine
arrogantly infiltrating itself skin deep , without asking
she knows she's always welcome
i lay on the grass and nap in her arms
she runs her fingers on my cold hungry skin , instantly setting me on fire
i open one eye and wander it around ... i'm not alone in her shrine
she's flirting with him and her and him
she's even flirting with the cat and the pigeon
she's hugging that willow tree
she's making love to that Victorian statue
that shameless pervert
i'm jealous
she knows what she's doin'
she's too bright i can't look at her
yet too powerful and dominant i can always feel her presence
then she playfully hides behind a cloud .. playing hard to get
a cold breeze wakes me up
i sulk in my sweat-shirt wondering for how long i'll have to cope with her absence
with her warmth still lingering in my body , she makes sure i'm always longing for more
and when it's time to say goodbye
she leaves triumphantly and never looks back
she knows i'm watching her walk away
she knows i'll be out tomorrow searching high and low for her .. desperate for my fix
i take home a memory , a feel and a state of mind
i take home a tan .. a physical evidence of my escapade with her that i'll show to everyone and brag about
until we meet again
she's my sickness and my drug
she's my femme fatale
